山地性成虫越冬キリガ。
林縁の柵にいた終齢幼虫。色彩には変異がある。
分布：北海道、本州、四国、九州、
　　　朝鮮半島、ロシア南東部、アムール
成虫出現月：11、4～5（成虫越冬）
幼虫食餌植物：ヤナギ類、トチノキ、カエデ類など各種広葉樹
